Our Story
TRIUNE began with a moment no family wants to experience. A loved one was hospitalized, and we had no way of knowing. No call. No alert. Just silence. That silence revealed a painful truth: in critical moments, families are often left in the dark.
We built TRIUNE to close that gap.
TRIUNE Alert is designed to support families across three kinds of critical moments. Medical Alert helps families stay informed when someone is at a hospital and may not be able to communicate, a situation many families with seniors know all too well. Emergency Alert lets users quickly share their live location and a short message when they feel unsafe, so trusted contacts can respond quickly! Ask a Lawyer helps users reach legal support when something happens and they need guidance, not confusion, especially in urgent, high-stakes situations.
We have seen how these needs show up in everyday life: adult children trying to protect aging parents, caregivers coordinating support, and families who live with added uncertainty, including families impacted by deportation processes who need to know when to show up, who to call, and what to do next. TRIUNE helps by making it easier to alert the right people quickly and connect to support without delay.
TRIUNE Alert partners with Northwestern University and the University of Chicago to engage high performing interns, giving students practical, hands-on experience while strengthening our team with thoughtful, research informed talent.
Our mission is simple: no one should face a critical moment alone and the right people should know what’s happening in time to help.

We are a cross-section of the people we serve and the professionals who support them, including lawyers, doctors, public health leaders, financiers, students, seniors, caregivers, and community advocates, all working together to turn critical moments into coordinated care and action.
